Babice Airport (EPBC)

Airspace is very busy in Warsaw which provides a great opportunity to gain wonderful experience for students. There are 3 major aerodromes in Warsaw along with many other local airfields in less than 1 hour of flight travel . Firstly Chopin International Airport (EPWA) which is the main hub for Warsaw and Lot Airlines, Secondly Modlin International Airport (EPMO) which lies in the outer part of Warsaw city and is a local hub for Ryannair and the third and final is Babice Aerodrome(EPBC) which serves as the general aviation center for Warsaw. Babice is located in Warsaw and is very easy to commute to.

Kaposvar Airport

Hungary

is a city in the southwestern part of Hungary, south from Lake Balaton. Kaopsvar is one of the leading cities of Transdanubia and it is the capital of Somogy County as well as the seat of Kaposvár District and of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kaposvár. The shield of Kaposvár consists of the green hills which represent the Somogy Hills and the three-towered castle with a huge metal gate. The Castle of Kapos could look like it, so it will be a wonderful experience for students to fly over this beautiful sceneries.

Life at the academy

We give an opportunity for our students  to study in two countries in a single  aviation programme .Our students roughly spend  3-4 months In Hungary (PPL, PIC, NVFR) and 2-4 months In Poland (MEP, IR, CPL). According to the perfect weather suitability. To study ATPL subjects all our students have the freedom to stay wherever they prefer including their home county.

Life at Hungary

Hungary is a country in Central Europe. Spanning 93,030km2  in the Carpathian Basin, it borders Slovakia to the north, Ukraine to the northeast, Romania to the east and southeast, Serbia to the south, Slovenia and Croatia to the southwest, and Austria to the west. The official language is Hungarian, which is the most widely spoken Uralic language in the world..Hungary’s capital and largest city are Budapest; other major urban areas include Debrecen, Szeged, Miskolc, Pecs, and Gyor.

Hungary has a mild seasonal climate, with generally warm summers with low overall humidity levels but frequent rain showers and cold snowy winters. The average annual temperature is 9.7 °C. Temperature extremes are 41.9 °C on 20 July 2007 at Kiskunhalas in the summer and −35 °C on 16 February 1940 Miskolc-Görömböly. Tapolca in the winter.23 to 28 °C is the average high temperature and the average low temperature in the winter is −3 to −7 °C. The average yearly rainfall is approximately 600 mm.

In your free time, you can visit some of the best places in Hungary with colleagues like the church of St. Ignatius of Loyola which is situated in Gyor, an ornate Benedictine cathedral, which visitors have described as “food for the soul.” 

You can also relax by swimming. You can head to Heviz, home to one of the largest thermal lakes in the world. Temperature Varies From  24 to 37 degrees making for a pleasant swim. The water flows from its source fast enough to change every 3 days, keeping the water clean. Located near Great Lake Balaton, Heviz is famous for spas with many flourishing resorts. After a swim in these medicinal waters, you can go hiking in the nearby forest, or take in a food festival or outdoor concert.

You will find spectacular views in Budapest, Hungary’s capital and largest city, considered one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. Budapest is the home of the world’s largest thermal water cave system as well as the world’s second-largest synagogue and the third largest Parliament building, the city’s top attraction.



Life at Poland

The Republic of Poland is a country located in Central Europe. Poland is divided into 16 administrative subdivisions, covering an area of 312,696 Km2, and has a largely temperate seasonal climate. With a population of over 38.5 million people, Poland is one of the most populous member states of the European Union. Poland’s capital and largest metropolis are Warsaw. Other major cities include Krakow, Lodz, Wrocław, Poznan, Gdansk, and Szczecin.

Poland is bordered by the Baltic Sea, Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast, and Lithuania, to the north, Ukraine, and  Belarus to the east, Czech, and Slovakia to the south, and Germany to the west.

The climate is mostly temperate throughout the country. The climate is a bit high in the north and west and becomes gradually warmer and continental towards the south and east. Summers are generally warmer, with average temperatures between 18 and 30 °C. Winters are cold with average temperatures around 3 °C in the northwest and −6 °C  in the northeast. Drizz;e  falls throughout the year, although, especially in the east, winter is drier than summer.

In your free time, you can visit some of the places in Poland with your colleagues like Krakow. Krakow has around 40 urban parks, including Planty Park which is built in the 19th century, which covers an area of twenty-one (21) hectares and forms a green ring around the city center which is very beautiful to see from a top angle, and the Lasek Wolski forest, which offers you hiking and biking trails in a large woodland area just minutes from the city center.

Krakow’s 28 museums are a must-see on rainy days, especially the National Art Collection at the Wawel, where visitors can also see period furniture, a massive collection of Flemish tapestries, the royal jewels, and a collection of weapons and armor dating back to the 15th century.

You can also visit the Warsaw city which is considered as the home of 60 museums, one of those is the National Museum, which conveys the history of the city, also houses the largest collection of paintings in Poland including a number of works of art that came from Adolf Hitler’s private collection.

You can also go for a hike in Poland’s highest mountain, Rysy, located in the Polish Tatras. At 2,500 meters, it’s the highest Tatras peak in either country that can be climbed without a park guide. In addition, the park is home to over six hundred caves, with the limestone cave system, Wielka Śnieżna, 23Km Longer, and 824 meters deeper.

Polis Tatres have waterfalls, streams, and mountain lakes. Morskie Oko lake is considered as the largest lake in the park. Located deep within the park, it can only be reached after a two hours hiking journey through hills and a thick forest of Swiss pines.

Accommodation

Students Have nothing to worry about accommodation because the main reason to choose Poland and Hungary for this aviation program is the cost of living in these two countries. So You can choose what suits your budget. There are high budget hotels as well as low budget luxurious hotels to accommodate yourself. You can rent yourself or you can board yourself according to your comfort. For Information, there are 100s of hotels and renting places near the Babice airport and Kaposvar airport.
