Development of new training and maintenance facilities in Wales
Millions of pounds are pumped into developing new training and maintenance facilities as Caerdav signs a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai-based MOBH group. The pilot training company in South Wales, Caerdav: the aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) will create a centre of excellence for commercial aviation training at Bro Tathan. Complete training for pilots and cabin crew are offered by the business park, opened by Welsh Government in September.
It does not stop there, In addition to the training centre, the investment will also fund the construction of a new aircraft paint hangar. a remarkable addition, this will enable Caerdav to provide full paint services for aircraft up to the size of a Boeing 767.

This center will offer not only state-of-the-art ab-initio flight training, multi-crew co-operation courses and upset prevention and recovery training. It will also provide type ratings and a dedicated course for cabin crew.
training will be provided in partnership with Austrian-based Aeronautx. comprising of different level of training and skills. Trainee pilots will develop their skills on Diamond DA42NG and DA40 aircraft. There will be simulators for the Boeing 737 Classic, 737NG and Airbus 320, the world’s most widely used passenger aircraft.
